V1 Release Notes

The current release presents the user with the following capabilities:

Half duplex Push-to-Talk long range audio using a multicast to unicast relay for range stability.

GPS fix provided by the onboard GPS receiver, streamed to port 4349, GPS fix also available via the Ethernet port automatically

802.11s Mesh Networking capabilities at 20MHz

Automatic unique ip assignment based on the device’s MAC address

Standard LuCi web interface for device maintenance and monitoring

Upcoming firmware release features and improvements:

5 and 10MHz bandwidth support

New LuCi menu options for user performance customization

Acoustic Echo Cancellation (AEC) Full Duplex

Channel hopping and advanced counter jamming measures

Further multicast relay support for wrapping ATAK audio in unicast packets for ultra-long range voice transmission

Improvements to automatic device WiFi management (client kick logic to prefer the most stable WiFi access point connection)

Video streaming server using RTSP

Bandwidth Improvements for Mesh Clients
